What are hybrid stepper motors?
Hybrid stepper motors combine aspects of both permanent magnet (PM) and variable reluctance (VR) stepper motors. Like PM motors, they contain a permanent magnet in the rotor teeth. Two sets of teeth called cups ring the rotor. One ring is all south poles, and the other ring is all north poles.

Accurate Position Control
The angular displacement of the stepping motor can be precisely controlled by the number of electric pulses. Angle accuracy can be controlled within ±0.09゜without any feedback devices.
Forward/Reverse Rotation, Pause and Hold
The forward/reverse rotation of the stepper motor can be controlled by the input sequence of the controlled electric pulses.
In case of a stepper motor lock (the motor winding is energized, there is no external electric pulse command), the stepper motor can still maintain a certain torgue output.
